Nikki will be sorely missed Sis. I remember when she was just a pup and I lived on Lafayette and walked her home with me and she was so good for me. I'll miss seeing her outside the shop, greeting everybody. My thoughts are with you guys.... I love you

Sorry to hear about Gus. I only saw him once, when I visited about 2 years ago, but he did leave an impression and it was obvious you guys loved him.

Sorry to hear of you loss of Gus. I always enjoy businesses that make their pets a part of their business. Although we've moved from the area I will never forget the excellent service and personal touch from a great family business.

It is hard to believe we won't be hoisting Gus in and out of the tub anymore. He was okay with having his bath in general, but when it came to the "caboose" being cleaned up he really disagreed. The funniest thing is that he really thought he was very quick - as soon as the derrrier was scrubbed, he would turn and give a big snort/grunt - only it really was in slow motion. He came into the clinic grey in color from his "day job" at the shop, and went home (fairly) white again, only to repeat the process again in a few weeks. We are happy to have known Gus, happy to have had the opportunity to care for him, and happiest of all that Gus had a wonderful life and a family that loved him unconditionally.

My heart goes out to you. Dogs are Doug and my life, next to out grandchildren and children. Even with new additions in our home, there is still a void. Dogs are a special gift from God.

I remember that, Lorna........after that all I had to do was creep up behind him and whisper "pork chop" and he'd bark like crazy.
Thank you for the memory.

Gus will be missed.... I remember when Charlie first brought him into the shop and he was so adorable, everyone loved him immediately. I'll never forget Tanya grabbing him by the leg....saying "Porkchop" ...sending him into a tizzy. He is a very important part of Hervey History and his memory will live on! We love you Gus dog!
